Barbara Lee Satkoski

 Barbara Lee Satkoski, 75, of Niles, died peacefully Saturday, August 22, 2026 in her own home with her husband, Ron and grand-daughter, Haleigh present.

 Her life began February 5, 1951 in Niles, the first of four children born to Robert and Mary Curtis. She married Ronald A. Satkoski July 2, 1983 in Niles, moving from the city to the country.

 Barb graduated from Brandywine High School in 1970. For the past sixteen years, she worked at Master Mini for Roxie Guisbert. Barb had a love for baking and quilting, and she lovingly made several quilts for family and friends. She also created a fundraising quilt for the Class of 1970, combining her creativity with her generosity. Barb enjoyed learning the ropes of country life alongside Ron. In her quieter moments, she could often be found reading a good book or listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s. One of her favorite movies was An Affair to Remember. Barb will be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and the many thoughtful things she made and shared with the people she loved.

 She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Ron Satkoski of Niles; one daughter, Lisa Satkoski of Niles; one step-son, Dan (Lisa) Satkoski of Three Rivers; one step-daughter Connie (David) Gonzales of Ohio; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a several of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and one grandson.

 Family and friends will gather Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Silverbrook Cemetery for her graveside service.

 The family prefers contributions in memory of Barbara be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at St.Jude.org
