Carolyn Louise Vance, 80, of Niles, died peacefully Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the comfort of her family’s presence.

Her life began June 10, 1945, in Portageville, Missouri, the youngest of five children born to Lummie Ida Anglin. She married Floyd Vance in the summer of 1987 in Niles, Michigan.

Carolyn adored her family and friends. She and Floyd were classic car lovers. Carolyn loved rummaging through estate sales, garage sales, and antiquing. She and Floyd loved to travel and camp in their RV. They loved to bowl and participated in many tournaments and competitions.

Carolyn will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of over forty years, Floyd Vance of Niles, one son, Stephen Vance of Elkhart, Indiana, and one sister, Sabra (John) Ferenczi of Niles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Family and friends will gather at 9:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2025, in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 East Main Street, Nilesto process to Silverbrook Cemetery  where she will be laid to rest in a Graveside Service.
