Charles William Keeton

Charles William Keeton, 75, of Niles died Monday, May 4, 2026.

His life began May 11, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana, the eldest of two children born to Albert and Doris Keeton.

Charles enjoyed NASCAR and was a big fan of jazz music. He would spend most of his time listening to his favorite jazz artist, Herb Alpert. Family was very important to Charles, including his two beloved dogs. He was an avid collector of small metal cars and trucks.

Charles will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Doris Turner of Marion, Indiana; three nieces, Bethany (Steve) Wachs of Granger, Indiana, Heather Sandlin of Marion, Indiana, Sandy (Jon) Thornhill of Marion, Indiana; and one great niece, Aubree Thornhill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will observe a private remembrance.
