Charles Allen Yahne

Charles Allen Yahne, 65, of Mishawaka, died suddenly, Saturday May 2, 2026.

His life began May 7, 1960 in Buchanan the second of six children born to Gerald and Nancy Yahne.

Chuck, also known as Chuck Mouse, among other things, was an avid outdoorsman. His camper was his safe place. He loved to fish, hunt and just enjoy being in nature. Chuck also loved people. To Chuck, everyone was family and he saw no one as a stranger. Even the kids at Pitcher Lake Campground called him Uncle Chuck. He could make everyone comfortable with his sense of humor.

Chuck will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by one sister, Ronda (Tim) Danley of Niles; four brothers, Jerry (Carol Harman) Yahne of Mishawaka, Mike Yahne of Grand Rapids, Denny (Vickie) Yahne, Keith Yahne of Niles and a host of nieces and nephews and his good friends Jeff and Dave. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Josh Yahne.

The family will observe a private remembrance. The family prefers contributions in memory of Chuck be made to Jerry or Denny Yahne.
