Christopher Burd, Jr.

Christopher Allen Burd, Jr. age 25 years of Paw Paw, Michigan died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Elkhart (Indiana) General Hospital after collapsing on a jobsite.

He was born on October 5, 1992 in Big Rapids, Michigan to Christopher A. and Theresa I. (Heuss) Burd, Sr.  He was graduated from Bloomingdale (Michigan) High School, and has been employed at Pier Perfection, Inc. of Cassopolis, Michigan.

Christopher enjoyed hunting up north, golfing at area courses, and playing billiards in area pool leagues.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa (& Dave) Cross of Paris, Michigan and father, Christopher (& Michele) Burd, Sr. of Paw Paw; his siblings, Rodney (& Chelsea Nikunen) Murphy of Paw Paw, Tara (& Ronnie Danneffel) Buss of Paris, and Teddy Cross of Paris; and two nieces and one nephew.

The family of Christopher Burd, Jr. will gather privately to honor his life and share memories.  Arrangements were made at the Halbritter-Wickens Funeral Home in Niles.
