Debra "Yoyo" Sharrer

  Debra Kay "Yoyo" Sharrer, 70, of Niles, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 23, 2026. Her life began June 30, 1956 in South Bend, Indiana one of seven children born to Melvin Sharrer and Marilyn Steele. 

 Yoyo was a loving homemaker, who loved adventure and family. She loved horses, being outdoors, and going to the creek to sunbathe. Her personality was one of a kind, full of spunk and told people exactly how she felt. Yoyo had a passion for motorcycles and dancing as well.

Yoyo will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her four daughters, Roenika Sharrer of Niles, Rikki Lei Gonzales of South bend, Indiana, Rachel Sharrer of Niles, Jennifer Kutz of Dowagiac; five sons, Lee Sharrer of Niles, Emilio Sanchez of Niles, Adrian Sanchez of Niles, Nathaniel Sharrer of Vandalia, and George Miles of Niles; one brother, Thomas Sharrer of Mishawaka, Indiana; And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ricky Sharrer, Charlie Sharrer, Robert Webber and William Webber; and one grandson, Torriano Anderson Jr.

Family and friends will gather Friday September 4, 2026 for visitation from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon. in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 East Main Street, Niles.

Debra will be laid to rest in Silverbrook Cemetery.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Yoyo be made to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services 615 East Main Street, Niles, 49120, to assist with defraying expenses for her service.
