Elizabeth Adams

Elizabeth Anne “Liz” Adams, age 59 years of Niles, Michigan died at 4:54 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana following an extended illness.
She was born on January 4, 1958 in Niles to William Albert and Lois Jean (Stickley) McDonald. She was graduated from Niles High School, and has lived here all of her life. She was previously employed in the offices of the former Pawating Hospital (now Lakeland – Niles), and for many years has been employed at Shelton’s Farm Market in Niles.
Liz enjoyed gardening – mostly flowers, and completing various arts and crafts projects at home.
On January 8, 1983 in Niles she married Allen L. Adams with whom she celebrated the twenty-fourth anniversary of their wedding prior to his death on August 13, 2007.
Surviving family includes their children, Jason (& Autumn) Adams of South Bend, and Jessica (& Scott Reygaert) Adams of Mishawaka, Indiana; granddaughter, Skylynn Reygaert; and Liz’ brother Roger McDonald.
The funeral service for Elizabeth Adams will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Halbritter-Wickens Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at the Dailey Union Protestant Cemetery in Cassopolis, Michigan.
The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
