Floyd Earl Elrod

 Floyd Earl Elrod, 86, of Niles, died peacefully Saturday, December 20, 2025.

 His life began August 8, 1939 in Manchester, Tennessee, one of ten children born to Emmett and Alice Elrod. He married SherryAnn Olson in the ‘60’s in Niles.

 Floyd loved fishing, gardening, woodworking. He enjoyed eating, especially homemade tacos at his place.

 Floyd will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by daughters, Brenda Elrod, Sandra (Jim) Shafer, both of Niles; five grandchildren, Shawn, Rebecca, Levi, Kylie, Grant; four great grandchildren, Ryder, Taytum, Nova, Ryleigh; his cats, Lassie, and Tony.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife; son, Rodney Earl Elrod.

 The family will observe a private remembrance. Floyd will be laid to rest in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
