JoAnn Elaine Eckler of Niles passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 in her home.
JoAnn was born February 8, 1938 in Cassopolis to the late Howard and Gladys (Hoover) Blair. JoAnn was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Hocker, Sr.; her significant other for 25 years, Dan Brown; and a son, James Hocker, Jr.
JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Linda Hocker, Terry Elaine Wirick, and Gail (Mark) Seastrom; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Blair; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren,
JoAnn worked as a steel worker at Packard Industries.
There will be no services at this time. Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
