John Major Strader, 61, of Watertown, South Dakota, formerly of Niles, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024.
His life began May 30, 1963, in West Covina, California, born to Troy Strader and Shirley See.
John loved his family, fishing, and working on cars. He enjoyed a good time, a good laugh, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed getting his hands dirty and felt most complete doing for those he loved.
John will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Abigail Brock; son-in-law James Smith; and granddaughter, Maggie, all of Watertown, South Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his life partner, Teasia Shisler of South Bend, Indiana and mother, Shirley See of Niles.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
