Johnnie E. Balmer, Sr. passed away on December 5, 2017 at Lakeland Hospital, Niles, after a brief illness.
Johnnie was born on August 28, 1956 to the late Sylvester and Germaine Balmer. He is preceded by his parents and a brother Terry Balmer.
He is survived by his wife Melissa and a son Johnnie E. (Jammie) Balmer of Elkhart; grandchildren Charles, Haylee, Savannah, Colleenia, and Daigon; brothers Rick and Carl both of Osceola.
In keeping with Jon’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service for Johnnie will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Mapleview Free Methodist Church, 1837 Niles-Buchanan Road, Niles, Michigan 49120.
