Niles – Judith Ann Correa, 63, passed away at 1:58am on Wednesday, December 22, 2016 in West Woods of Niles.

Judith was born on November 7, 1953, in Niles to the late Jose and Edna (Vetter) Correa. Judith was also preceded in death by a nephew, Scott Seidner in 2006.

Judith is survived by her sisters, Clara (David) Singleton, and Susan Correa both of Niles; brothers, Joseph Correa of Crown Point, and William Correa of Niles; nieces, Tammy Kennedy of Niles, Dawn (David) Van Dyke of Buchanan, Beth (Jason) Adkins of South Bend, and Jeri Lea (Michael) Fields of Niles; nephews, Richard (Patti) Seidner of Niles, Robert (Sarah) Seidner of Poali, IN, Matthew (Amanda) Correa of Indianapolis, IN, and Joseph (Michelle) Correa of Dyer, IN; great-nephews, Trey Horner, Kyle Horner, Jacob VanDyke, Kahlyn Seidner, Hudson Fields, Davis Fields, and Bradley Correa; and great-nieces, Jennifer Sturgis, and Taya Seidner; and her beloved dog, Charlie Parker.

Judith graduated from Niles High School 1972, received a B.A. in education from Michigan State University, and a 2 year degree as a Registered Nurse from Lake Michigan College. She previously managed Wonderland Variety Store and was a RN at Hubbard Hill Retirement Village in Elkhart. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was an avid Michigan Spartan and Chicago Cubs fan.

Visitation will be 3-8pm on Monday, December 26, 2016 in HALBRITTER-WICKENS FUNERAL HOME, 615 E. Main St., Niles. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in the Funeral Home. Judith will be cremated and buried near her mom in Silverbrook Cemetery.
