Kent Herrmann, 55 of Niles passed away at University of Michigan Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kent was born on June 27, 1966 in South Bend to Edwin (Skip) and Sharon (Warstler) Herrmann.
He is preceded in death by both of his grandparents, his Uncle, Lavon (Hermie) Herrmann and his brother, Kirk Herrmann.
Kent is survived by his parents, Skip and Sharon, his sister, Sheryl Herrmann and nephews, Alex (Megan) Hill and Ryan Hill. As well as his special cousin, Eddie Herrmann and several other cousins, his special friends, Darrick Parker, Joey Bone and Lauren Kordeck.
Kent attended Brandywine High School. He played Little League Baseball, Football and some Wrestling. He was a die-hard University of Michigan fan. Kent spent most of his time with his special four-legged pal, Athena. She was the love of his life.
In keeping with Kent’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Shamrock Station Brewery and Winery 961 E. Shawnee Road, Berrien Springs from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
The family has entrusted Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles with the arrangements.
