Linda Ashley

Linda Louella Ashley, 71 of Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Golden Living Center in Mishawaka.

Linda was born on November 12, 1950 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Lenora (Forkum) Ashley. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father 3 brothers, Tillman, Donald and Jimmy Ashley and her grandson Nathanielle Walter.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Bright of Mishawaka Indiana and her 3 grandchildren; Lucas Walter, Donald ‘DJ’ Wolf and Cayden Bright, all of Mishawaka.

Linda worked at several machine shops throughout her career with the last being Modineer in Niles where she was a press operator. She had also been a member and Bartender at Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club for many years. She enjoyed doing word searches and puzzles with her youngest grandson and could be seen regularly at her oldest grandchildren’s baseball games and school events. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and loved to spend as much time with them as possible.  She loved cook outs and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Linda and her brother Jimmy, who recently passed away, The gathering will be on December 4, 2021 at 3:00pm in the Elkhart Housing Community Building at 181 N. Elkhart Rd. Elkhart, IN.
