Niles – Lorraine D. (Oehring) House, 92, was born on January 28, 1925 in Saginaw, MI to the late Herman and Bertha Oehring and passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of Malcolm G. House who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, and three brothers. Lorraine was the beloved mother to Sandra (John) Schussler, Timothy House, Janet (Trace) Plummer, Clinton (Sandy) House, and Agnes Casey. Loving Grandmother to Bruce (Toni) Etzcorn, Kelly (Tony) Welsh, Zachary Plummer, Spencer Plummer, Malcolm (Lisa) House, Mark (Angie) House, David House, Mona Casey, Tracy Casey, Steven Casey. Loving Great-Grandmother to Kailey Hinkle, Jenna Welsh, Marlo Etzcorn, Carter Welsh, Audrey Etzcorn, Anthony House, Katie House, Matthew House, Tanishia Neal (Sanetti) and Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.
Lorraine enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Malcom House, playing bridge with friends, watching Michigan State football and basketball, and enjoyed watching her Grandchildren in a variety of events. She also enjoyed bowling and headed the YMCA Girls Softball program for many years.
Services will be private for the family only as Lorraine is returned to Saginaw, MI for burial.
