(Tiney) Farley.  She was graduated from the Mount Vernon (Ohio) Academy, and continued her education at the former Emanuel Missionary College (now Andrews University) in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  She taught home economics for several years, and then was employed for many years as the manager of the bookstore at Kettering (Ohio) College of Medical Arts.  She lived in Ohio most of her life, coming to Niles in 2019.

On June 27, 1950 in Lima, Ohio she married Eugene R. Cowling, Jr. with whom she celebrated the remarkable Sixty-eighth anniversary of their wedding prior to his death on May 3, 2019.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Anna Belcher, William Farley, and Evelyn Conkell.

Surviving family includes her children, William (& Judy) Cowling of Fairmount, Indiana and Sue (& Doug) Fattic of Niles; grandchildren, Andrew (& Merve) Cowling and Christina (& Brent) Barker; great-grandson Wyatt Barker; and several nieces and nephews.
