Melissa Ann Lipscomb, 55, of Niles, died peacefully Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Her life began May 16, 1971 in Niles, the second of four children born to Alonzo Moss and Rosie Moore.

Melissa lived a life deeply rooted in her faith in God. She was a devoted member of God's Mercy Church, where she found joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others. Those who knew her best saw Christ's love reflected through her kindness and encouragement. Her prayers were constant, her love for her family was unwavering. Melissa will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her love for God's word.

Melissa will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Seth Lipscomb; two daughters, Jasmine Lipscomb of Detroit, Michigan, and Krystal Lipscomb (Frederick Martin) of Niles; two sons, Aaron Moss (Janelle Morris) of Cartersville, Georgia, and Seth Lipscomb Jr. of Niles; four granchildren, Jaydenn Fowler, Elan Fowler, Isabella Smith, and Za'Kiya Stansberry; seven sisters, Regina (Carl) West-Lucas of Mishawaka, Indiana, Carla (Melvin) Hill of Niles, Yolanda (Gregory Reed) of Kalamazoo, Debra (Issac) Piggy of Mishawaka, Indiana, Estelle Moss of Atlanta, georgia, Tinita Moore of Niles, and Felicia Moss of South Bend, Inidiana; two brothers, Dwayne (Odelet) West of Niles, and David Moss of Niles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, two sisters, Augustine Kyles and Darlene Moss, and one brother, Dwight Moss.

Family and friends will gather Friday, September 18, 2026 for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon in Hope Community Church, 2390 Lake Street, Niles, 49120.

Melissa will be laid to rest in Silverbrook Cemetery.
