Patsy Galaske

Patsy Ann Galaske, age 68 years formerly of Galien, Michigan died peacefully at 10:06 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 with her husband at her side at Spectrum Lakeland-Niles Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born on June 21, 1951 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Carl and Geneva (Johnson) West.  She was raised and attended school in Arkansas, and came to Galien in 1981.   She was employed for many years at Riveridge Manor in Niles, and moved to Niles in 2016.

Patsy most enjoyed riding with her husband on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle, usually throughout western Michigan.

On August 3, 1979 in Muskegon, Michigan she married Charles R. Galaske, with whom she celebrated the thrity-ninth anniversary of their wedding last year.  Sadly, they were preceded in death by their sons, Chuckie, Jr. at age 22 years in 2001, and Jonathan at age 33 years in 2013.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Chuck Galaske, Sr. and by her siblings, Joyce (& Bill) Pierce of Creal Springs, Illinois, Jeanette Ott of Georgia, Betty Graul of South Bend, Indiana, Tammy (& Joe) Leo of Missouri, Theresa Chase of Stevensville, Michigan, Don (& Ruth) West of Fremont, Michigan, Rod (& Donna) West of Rothbury, Michigan, Larry (& Cindy) West of Rothbury, Kenny West of Buncombe, Illinois, Ricky Thompson of Missouri, and Terry (& Alice) West of Stevensville; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of Patsy Galaske will be gathering privately to share memories of her and to honor her life.
