Scott Phillips
January 24, 1964 — March 5, 2020
Scott J. Phillips, 56 of Cassopolis, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Spectrum Lakeland Medical Center.
Scott was born on January 24, 1964 in Niles to the late John and Evelyn (Woltman) Phillips.
He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister Sandra, brothers Jim Phillips, Greg Phillips and Ricky Phillips and his sister Sue Vandenburg.
Scott is survived by his son Steven (Lisa) Phillips of Dowagiac, MI, grandchildren; Carter, Jackson and Colt. He is also survived by his brother John Phillips of South Bend and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Scott enjoyed the outdoors. He loved being at the lake fishing, boating, swimming or camping. He was a well known Notre Dame Football and Pittsburg Steelers fan. Scott watched NASCAR and followed dirt track racing.
Scott was a devoted Grandfather. He was very proud of his grandchildren and would follow their achievements and accomplishments.
Visitation for Scott will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
