December 18, 1944 — September 20, 2013
Shelia Hicks Fisher, age 68 years, of Terre Haute, formerly of Niles passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 surrounded by her family after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born on December 18, 1944 in LaPorte, Indiana to Ferris D. Hicks and Dorothy E. Fisher Hicks. Shelia was raised in Niles, Michigan and graduated from Niles High School.
Shelia is survived by her husband, Bruce Fisher of Terre Haute, two sons, Rob Valentic (& Marie) and David Fisher (& Jackie), two daughters, Tracey Symon and Terri (& Howard) Willingham, two sisters, Madeline (&Kent) Roberts and Barb (& Mike) Treash, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Shelia was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Valentic Barnett and her husband Dennis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
