Jerry was born on October 29, 1942 in Carrizo Springs, TX to the late Elbert Murl and Velma Estelle Tedder, he is also preceded by eight brothers and sisters; Mildred, Murl, Jackie, Lilburn, Patricia, Edith, Leon and Ronny.

Jerry was the owner of Jerry’s Auto.  He was a ‘Jack of all trades’.  Jerry enjoyed mechanics, carpentry, and was very proud of his garden.  He loved to buy things and always had five of everything.  He especially loved to buy things for his wife.  If she liked something, he would buy it for her.  Jerry loved his family.  Before his passing, he was joking and in good spirits.  He loved to laugh and tell jokes.  You could never take him seriously when he was telling a story because there was always a twisted, funny ending. He was so good at telling stories, you would fall for it every time.  Jerry never had an enemy.  He loved his family and was the kindest person you could meet.  Even this tragic mishap, did not keep him from laughing and joking whenever anyone would walk into his hospital room.  He had a laugh and a smile you could never forget.

Per Jerry’s wishes, there will not be any services.  Memorial donations in Jerry’s name may be made to Niles Township Fire Department 2049 South 3rd Street Niles, MI 49120.
