Timothy Edward Rucker II, age 52 years of Niles, Michigan died at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lakeland Medical Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan following a brief illness.
He was born on May 10, 1965 while his mother, Jacque Ellifritz was serving in the United States Army in Stuttgart, Germany. He was graduated from Selah (Washington) High School, and has lived in this area for twenty years. He was a talented automobile mechanic who served in many shops, including Troy’s Mufflers in Niles.
Tim enjoyed off-road adventures in his Jeep, which often included camping. He also enjoyed NASCAR events, and was a fan of Mr. Jeff Gorton, former driver of #24, and now a television announcer. He is remembered by family and friends as being the life of every party he attended, and a jokester; but more importantly, an encourager with a ready smile.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelynn Ruth Dumas on September 9, 2016.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Audrey Hostetler of Niles; a step-daughter, Samantha (& Cody) and her daughter, Audrey; his step-father, Steve Dumas of Selah; and Tim’s sisters, Tami (& George) Worby of Selah, Gabi Dumas of Yakima, Washington, and Danielle (& Allen) Christopherson; and many nieces and nephews.
