Lynford E. Gabriel

Mishawaka – Lynford E. Gabriel, 82, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, in his home.

Lynford was born October 6, 1935 in Bryan, Ohio to the late Charles and Priscilla Francile (Schad) Gabriel. Lynford married Jane Ann (Mossbarger) in 1960 and she passed away in February 1995. Lynford was also preceded in death by a brother, Darryl.

Lynford is survived by his son, Tristan (Lori), Anthony (Carina), and Tyler (Tara); grandchildren, Kate, Julia, Ashlyn, Alex, and Alayna; sister, Shari Lord; and brother, Douglas (Shirley).

Lynford graduated from The Ohio State University and retired as a Financial Executive from Clark Equipment Company. He was an avid golfer, liked to travel.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Friday, June 8, 2018 in the 1st Presbyterian Church. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm in the Church with Pastor Fran Lane-Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. in Niles is assisting the family with arrangements.
