Stacey Ann Lintz

October 29, 1955 — October 6, 2020

Stacey Ann Lintz, age 64 years, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, crayon artist, Chihuahua fan, and caring friend died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, October 6, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on October 29, 1955 in Niles, Michigan to David E. and Joann M. (Dunahee) Miller, and was graduated from Niles High School.  Her life’s work has been providing a loving home and caring for her family.  She has lived in Niles all of her life until moving to Edwardsburg, Michigan in 2012.

Stacey was raised in the former Niles First Assembly of God (now Michiana Christian Embassy), and has been attending the Ontwa Baptist Church in Edwardsburg.  She enjoyed playing video games and watching horror movies or supernatural movies, usually with her children.  She completed many challenging coloring books, with her favorites displayed on the living room wall.  Her living room was also the home to her pet Chihuahuas who shared the space with Ted’s cats which were about the same size.  She was a great cook and loved to care for people, especially her family.

On May 3, 1981 in Niles she married Ted A. Lintz with whom she celebrated earlier this year the thirty-ninth anniversary of their wedding.  They were sadly preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Webb on October 19, 2010; and by Stacey’s parents, David and Joann Miller.

Surviving family includes her husband, Ted and children Jennifer Webb and Kerri Lintz, both of Edwardsburg; grandchildren Steven Webb, Jonathan Webb, Donald Webb, and Lenora Peirce; and Stacey’s siblings, Gary E. (& Marie) Miller of Niles, Michael D. (& Tammy) Miller of Niles, David A. (& Kari) Miller of Edwardsburg, Helen M. Miller of Niles, and Sonya Miller of Niles; and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Stacey will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home in Niles, Michigan. Online condolences may be left at:

Stacey loved to care for people, was always honest, and helped folks - even when she had helped before  .  .  .  and knew that she would be helping them again.  Above all she loved her family and wished to never retire from that calling.  She was 23 days short of the retirement age of 65 years, and was at the home that she shared with dogs, friends, and family.  We say to Stacey “Well Done!”.
