William Dehn

William D. Dehn, Jr. 66 of Niles, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
William was born on February 24, 1955 in Greenville, MI to William and Shriely (Coston)
Dehn, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his father and an infant daughter Rebecca Lynn Dehn.
On August 21, 1976 in Belding he married Marcia Carlson who passed away in 2015.
William is survived by his mother, Shirley Dehn of Belding, MI, his daughters, Amanda (Rich)
Mills of Niles and Kristin Dehn of Indianapolis, IN. grandchildren; Mitchell, Drew, Morgan,
Joshua, Karlie, Nicholas and Caleb, great grandchildren; Elle, Kandence, Parker and Beau. He is
also survived by his brother; Anthony (Kelley) Dehn of Battle Creek, MI and his sister, Teri
(Marty Mills) Dehn of Belding, MI as well as several nieces and nephews and a close circle of
friends.
William had been a Design Engineer for Tyler Refrigeration for many years. He was an avid
golfer who was a member of the SMT (Saturday Morning Tour). The SMT was a close group of
friends who would go golfing, fishing together. William was also a Red Wings and Notre Dame
Hockey fan. He found his greatest joy in being able to watch his grandchildren play sports.
In keeping with William’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be
held in his memory on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hampshire Country
Club 2592 Pokagon Hwy, Dowagiac, MI.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles.
